Unlike fillers, PermaLip provides permanent fullness of the lips and repeated treatments are NOT required.
Lip augmentation with PermaLip is quite simple. It is not much different from lip augmentation with fillers. After local anesthesia, two 2-3 mm incisions in the right and left corners are made. PermaLip is placed to the lip through these cuts and the incisions are closed using absorbable sutures. The whole process rarely exceeds fifteen minutes. PermaLip is permanent, but can easily be removed when the original lip volume is desired (for any reason). It can also be replaced with a larger one over time.
