PRP- (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP - It is produced from the initials of the words " P latelet R ich P lasma".

  • Platelets or thrombocytes are tiny cells involved in blood clotting. These particles are the basic elements in wound healing and coagulation . They give the primary signal that initiates wound healing with their cytokine and growth factor rich content.

  • Plasma is the liquid part of the blood. Plasma is slightly yellow in color. It contains water, blood proteins, salts (electrolytes), glucose, hormones, various metabolic residues and lipids.  Plasma does not contain white and red blood cells. Aim is to concentrate thrombocytes (up to 5-7 times) while discarding all other blood elements.

PRP obtained from your own blood is basically trombocytes concentrated in plasma.

PRP applied into the skin

stimulates stem cell and fibroblast response.

Stimulated cells produce new collagen, hyaluronic acid and blood vessel .

Application areas of PRP in aesthetic surgery:

  • Nasolabial grooves,

  • Upper and lower lip wrinkles,

  • Periorbital area,

  • Acne and scars,

  • Neck

  • Decollete area,

  • Hands,

  • Sun spots,

  • Scalp.

With the application:

  • The face, neck, décolleté and hand;  improvement in fine wrinkles, general skin appearance, texture, and firmness has been proven microscopically and clinically. Volume restoration and hydration is provided.

  • Scalp;  increase in hair count, density, epidermal thickness, and in blood vessels around follicles is documented scientifically. Improvement in hair pull test is also stressed.

  • Before hair transplantation; increased blood supply and dermal thickness resulting in better hair follicle uptake rates,

  • Skin spots;  Improvement in pigmentation.

  • Acne and wound scars; elevation of depressed scars and improvement in redness and firmness .

  • Hyalouronic acid fillers; longer lasting effects and enhanced volume augmentation.

  • Fat grafting; increased graft uptake.

Collagen regeneration is completed in the 3rd month. Repetition of the 3 session cure is recommended at every 2 years. The swelling and bruising that may occur, will disappear within 2 days. Many different and widespread PRP indications (non-healing wounds, joint disorders, ligament healing, dental treatment, etc.) is beyond the scope of this article.

Applications are made under ANESTHESIC CREAM application  or-preferably SEDATION anesthesia.

Our protocol of Advanced PRP Application is basically:

MezoBotox + Hyaluronic Acid

Intradermal PRP

Dermapen / Dermaroller ,

application during the same session.

Combination of PRP and Hyaluronic Acid- containing products provides a stable basement where collagen fibers can settle. Thus, a more permanent effect is provided. PRP and hyaluronic acid ultimately induce a synergistic effect of soft tissue augmentation and skin rejuvenation.

The combination of PRP and BOTOX supports each other. Although it can be done at the same time, an interval of 1-2  days is ideal . However, by adding Simultaneous full face application of Botox  (PRP + MezoBotox) provides improved results.

PRP is a perfect complement.

FIBROCELL, STEM CELL and NANO FAT GRAFT

Simultaneous use of PRP with these applications is the summit of biological skin rejuvenation technology
