After Thigh Lift

Hospital stay is limited to one day. Drains are removed within 2-3 days . This is not a painful procedure and drains are not an contraindication for  hospital discharge.

The patient is encouraged to walk around during the day. On the other hand, excessive activity will be restricted for 4-6 weeks.

Edema or swelling is normal in the postoperative period. In order to prevent this, compression garments  covering the leg and thigh will be used for 3 weeks .

Thanks to self-resorbing stitches and special protective tapes (Micropore, OmniStrip, Steristrip and the like), there will be no need for daily dressing change or suture removal.

The scars will fade after 6 months and become less apparent over time. During this period, various creams will be recommended for faster and better recovery.
