The post-operative period is not painful. Bruises and swelling may appear around the eyes. This is normal for this region, which is extremely sensitive to the slightest impact. The disappearance of swelling and bruises differs from person to person. Swelling will subsides in 3-5 days, and bruises within 7-21 days. Although not a rule, people with fair skin have more bruises and swellings. To reduce bruising and swelling, it will be useful to apply ice on the eyelids for the first 24 hours and lie on your back with your head slightly above.

Postoperative Period:

Eyelids are the most favorable parts of the body in terms of scar healing. Redness at the incision site will disappear quickly. The swelling formed on the lids may be different  and some asymmetry may be seen in the early period. This asymmetry will disappear as the edema subsides within days.
