No obvious underlying pathology can be found in the 95%  of the patients. On the other hand, detailed hormone tests and imaging techniques (USG, CT and MRI when needed) are done in orde not to miss any underlying pathology. Symptoms, systemic diseases, drug, supplement and alcohol are questioned thoroughly. Routine preoperative tests (ECG, X-ray and blood tests) are also performed.
