Pain after surgery is uncommon.  Patients undergoing "no-cut" or "non-incisional" operaiton can take a shower late in the same evening. Otherwise (i.e. if you have an incision at the back of your ear) shower is postponed to 3rd day.

Bandages or dressings are rarely used. A headband may be worn to avoid unintentional injury to the ears while sleeping.

The majority of patients continue their daily life without any interruption. 

The results are permanent and the deformity does not recur by time...
