Hospital stay does not exceed 1 night. Shower  is restricted until the drains are removed.

Strong adhesive strips (OmniStrip, Micropore, etc.) placed over the resorbable stitches can stay in place up to 6 weeks which makes daily dressing changes and suture removal unnecessary. Use of special Lycra fiber bras may be recommended.

It takes 6 months to 1 year for the tissues to regain their normal elasticity and sensitivity. Operation scars will disappear by time.
