Face-Lift

Classical facelift surgery consists of removing the skin and subcutaneous excess and repairing the essential structures of the face. Persistence of the result is ensured by the procedures to be performed under the skin.
Neck is an extension and a component of face and sagging in these areas are also corrected. Forehead and eye-lid interventions are usually a part of the procedure. Mouth corner and cheek fold are among the primary target areas.

Incision starts in the temple hair, going down in front of the ear and then turning backwards to reach hairline behind the ear.   A small cut may be required under the chin, if neck is to be treated.

These are shown with the red lines.

The scars will be hidden within  hair and folds of the of the ear - disappear between shadows and natural folds . A small incision may also be needed under the chin

Botulinum toxin, PRP, stem-cell, nano-fat applications, dermabrasion, chemical peeling or laser applications, forehead, eyelid or neck interventions can be accomplished simultaneously.

Mini face lift operations are suitable for middle-aged people with moderate-level skin sagging. Many techniques have been described under mini face lift title. In all these techniques, a limited tissue dissection is made through a shorter incision. The result is a faster recovery period and a quick return into daily life. MACS-Lift and S-Lift are the most used mini facelift techniques.

Local or sedation anesthesia can be used.

Surgical technique used and the surgeon's ability are probably the most important determinants that affect the permanence and success of the operation.

Thread lifting procedures without making any cuts last no longer than 6-8 months in my hands.

Mini or full facelifts (S-Lift,  MACS Lift, SMAS-excision, SMAS platysma, SMAS plicating, subperiosteal, deep plane, composite or multiplane  facelift techniques) are no different than going back in time... But of course, the internal aging  process cannot be stopped and external factors like gravity and sun-light exposure  will  accelerate aging process. Just to simplify, answer to the question "how long will your lifting last?"  is "about 10-15 years"...

More permanent results are achieved with complex procedures (SMASsubperiosteal, deep plane, composite or multiplane techniques), compared to mini-lift techniques.
