Arm Lift Candidate

People who lose weight rapidly after diet or bariatric surgery may have severe sagging of the skin. It can also occur in people with genetic predisposition. Losing skin tension with advancing age is another factor to be blamed for.

This situation is also expressed by "bat wing appearance".

In patients with good skin tension and less sagging, minimal lifting with a limited incision and liposuction are primarily considered. In this way, possible scars are avoided. Overweight patients may not be suitable for this operation. The aim here is not to lose weight, but to eliminate the deformity.

Patients with severe sagging may require longer incisions.

Another question to be asked is whether the person's weight is stable or not. People who show excessive and rapid weight changes should wait until they reach their stable or ideal weight.
