After Surgery
It is an outpatient procedure so you can go home the same day.If the drains are used, they will be removed after 2-5 days. Drains do not prevent discharge from the hospital and their removal is painless.
In the first week, elevating arms slightly with pillows while lying down will reduce pain and swelling.
The bruises and swellings will disappear within 2 weeks.

At the end of the operation, compression garments or elastic bandages will be used to prevent bleeding and swelling. These will be used continuously for the first week. Daily dressing changes or suture removal will not be necessary.
Warm showering is permitted after the drains are removed or after the first office visit (usually at the 3rd day).
Daily activities can be continued without interruption. One week take off from work is generally enough. However, heavy exercises will be restricted for 6 weeks.
